I did this cake for one of our campus daughters who has a birthday this week.

We had a fun time yesterday at my parent's home with the whole family. Here are some pictures of Matthew, Amelia and Hunter (my nephew).

Bridal shower cake

One of our dear friends had her bridal shower last Saturday, and I did her cake as my gift to her. It was fun to do. Her colors are red, black and silver. Everything was edible. It was frosted in buttercream with fondant/gumpaste bow, ribbon and box lids.

This was the cake board. I "stamped" the word love into each corner.

This is an "up-close" view of the bottom cake with it's silver dragees (which are technically edible---just hard).

Matthew plays t-ball

Matthew is enjoying playing his first year

He has gotten in some really good hits.

Running is no problem for Matthew as he really doesn't walk anywhere
